New adoption laws passed in 2021 aim to make adoption easier in Georgia including tax credits for families and college breaks for foster kids. We are a non-profit organization and our adoption fees go right back to saving more dogs in need. We wish we could, but we cannot give discounted adoption rates. As such, our finances are closely monitored. We are a charitable, all-volunteer organization. All incurred costs for the animals are partially paid for by the adoption fee, private donations and a yearly grant we receive. Our fees are higher because our rescue is not subsidized by government funds.
